Parking Parking is plentiful and FREE at the North Shore Center. There may be traffic control officers at the facility entrances to direct you to parking areas. We appreciate your cooperation as they assist you in getting parked and into the theatre in a timely manner. There is also paid valet parking available for select performances. The back parking lot directly east of the North Shore Center is available for patrons. Additional garage parking is available after 6pm on weeknights and all day on the weekends east of the Centers parking lot. A second entrance to the garage is accessible off of Gross Point Road. The parking lot in front of the North Shore Center belongs to the DoubleTree Hotel and is intended for guests of the hotel and restaurant.
Seating Detail The North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Both theatres feature wheelchair accessible seating locations, for patrons who wish to remain in the wheelchair, or transfer out of the wheelchair into a theatre seat. These seats are also available to be used by companions of patrons who are using wheelchairs. If you require accessible seating due to limited mobility, please contact the box office by phone and ask your ticket agent for availability. For patrons with hearing impairment: The North Shore Center features a ListenTech RF assistive listening system available for all shows on a first come, first served basis. We ask that patrons using these devices please leave a drivers license, state identification card or credit card with the House Manager until the device is returned at the end of the performance. Both facilities are also equipped with telecoil loop systems which are a special type of sound system for people who use hearing aids. The loop system provides a magnetic wireless signal that is picked up by a hearing aid when it is set to the T setting (telecoil).
General Rule All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Patrons who have misplaced or forgotten their tickets may have their tickets replaced at no charge. Please inquire in person at the box office when you arrive for your performance. Patrons arriving for a performance after the stated start time may be seated at a time and seat location based upon the House Managers discretion. For some performances, there may be no late seating. Cameras and audio or video recording equipment are not permitted in the theatres and may be stored with the House Manager or Security Personnel.
Child Rule All patrons entering the theatre must be ticketed, regardless of age. This includes children who are likely to share a seat with their adult guardians. Strollers are not permitted in the theatres and may be stored with the House Manager or Security Personnel.
